I’m very excited to share this with you…it started as a chat over coffee with friends who happen to be super talented photographers, Eileen Laubscher from Brightgirl Photography and Kelly Daniels from Kelly Daniels Photography, and grew from an ‘Inspire’ pinterest board into a beautiful shoot in the vineyards at Abingdon Estate in the Midlands with magical afternoon light.
We all had similar ideas on the style of weddings we would love to shoot and figured the best way to shoot one was to put it together ourselves. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing team of wedding vendors who really understood our vision and provided products and services that exceeded our expectations. More on them later.
Before I go any further I must thank our amazing models. Firstly, Ché and Warren who took time out of their holiday from England to be with us for the day. It was such a pleasure to watch you two lovebirds giggle, smile and kiss each other as if it was your wedding day. Secondly, Keri and Andrew, it may have taken some convincing but once Andrew got in front of the camera with Keri he managed to forget we were there and the two of you gave us wonderful moments to photograph. The Amazing Team: Models: Ché & Warren. Ché is author of the awesome blog Indie Berries. Head on over if you love, travel, cartoons, stationery, DIY and a good laugh…you’ll be hooked. Keri & Andrew. Keri is is the author of Midlands Musings, whose ‘…passion is the written word’. Each post is beautiful and honest. No two are the same. Both blogs should be added to your daily reading now. Venue: Abingdon Wine Estate. A beautiful vineyard in the heart of the midlands. Jane served us the most divine mezze platters for lunch which we washed down with their delicious wine. We almost all bailed on the shoot to eat and drink! Thank you Jane! Dresses: The Love Bucket. Stace not only supplied the dresses but with her expertise in wedding planing helped us out with the decor and all the last minute craftiness we needed on the day. Thanks Stace! Video: Stace’s talented husband Wes from The Shank Tank shot a video of the whole shoot which captured the essence of the day and shoot so perfectly. You can view it here. Cake: Smiths Bake Shop. Taryn baked the most amazing cupcakes and cake for our shoot which was a huge treat after a long day of shooting. Make Up & Hair: Kym & me. Thank you Kym for enhancing the girls natural beauty. Stationery: Glee Projects. These ladies deliver time and time again and this time was no different. The stationery matched our theme perfectly and we are so grateful. Tent: Midlands Stretch Tents. Tammy thank you so much for all your help in setting up this shoot. Enjoy! Thank you. You ladies are gorgeous! Some behind the scenes: The awesome Mezze platter from Jane at Abingdon EstateKel Daniels doing her thing 🙂 and lunch with the team. Tent from Midlands Stretch Tent provided the perfect shelter for our picnic part of the shoot.
