A Turkish Princess and her South African Sailor… Nargul and Fabian met in Quatar, apparently Fabian passed her as he was getting into an elevator, his heart fluttered and he knew he had seen the girl he was going to marry! Honestly, the guy is smitten. Unfortunately the wind ruined their dream of having a beach wedding but that was just a small glitch in their fantastic day! It was a truly international affair, the bridal party were from all over, Kenya, Russia, Sweden, England, South Africa and of course Turkey. I learnt a lot about Turkish tradition too. The Bride is required to ‘tip’ her bridesmaids for entertaining her while she gets ready and then she has to keep bribing them to put her wedding dress on as they make it very difficult for her by either not doing it properly, or pretending the dress and shoes don’t fit. Highly entertaining and rather expensive for the bride. It also explains all the money in the girls cleavage 😉 Those R100 notes were getting dished out left, right and centre. During the reception Fabian had organised the amazing Zulu Dancers from Beyond Zulu Experience who entertained the wedding guests and there was even Turkish vs Zulu tweak off 😉 It was a brilliant day, hope you enjoy a taster of this gorgeous wedding!
